Altay Ozcan

Altay Ozcan, a native of Ankara, has a degree in American Literature and Philology from Ankara Hacettepe University. His interest in archaeology and art history, combined with love of hiking and outdoor life, led him to become an official certified guide in 2008. Although he specializes in the cave art, history, and walking routes of Turkey's unique Cappadocia region, Altay also has extensive experience in leading trekking and sea kayaking trips, including in Turkey's Lycia and Caria regions. He is the author of The Carian Way, a walking and cultural guide for the Carian region of southwest Turkey known as the Turquoise Coast.
