Dennis Segale Pheto

Dennis was born in Mochudi in southern Botswana and began working in the bush in 1998 as a camp assistant at a lodge in the Okavango. While there, he studied for his guide’s license and the following year became an apprentice guide at a lodge in the Linyanti region. He later spent several years guiding in Savuti, in the remote southwestern corner of Chobe National Park, before serving as manager at Camp Okavango in the Okavango Delta. In 2025, Dennis’ passion for guiding drew him back into the field, and he joined the Wilderness Travel safari staff, leading mobile camping safaris throughout northern Botswana.
